Mycala supports the Research & Insights team on internal research initiatives, university partnerships, and knowledge management. In her role, she works to strengthen and advance Mastercard’s thought leadership on inclusive growth and social impact.

Prior to joining the Center, Mycala worked with Action Against Hunger in Peru on sustainable livelihoods and food insecurity and served as Executive Producer of the Data Feminism Network podcast. She also served as a research analyst at the Equality Fund, assessing access to climate finance for women-led organizations across Global South countries.

Mycala holds an MA in Global Affairs from the University of Toronto and a BA in Political Science and Economics from the University of British Columbia. She currently serves as an advisor for the Data-Pop Alliance Data Feminism Program and for the Economy Zero Group.
